The Onahu Trail

The Onahu Trail departs from a trailhead on Trial Ridge Road in the park. The trailhead is the second one on the right after you enter the park. The route goes through both forest and meadow land and eventually joins the Tonahutu Trail at Big Meadow. Big Meadow is a great spot for a picnic lunch. Long sections of the trail are streamside and there are several stream crossings (bridges). This trail can be combined with the Green Mountain Trail to form a delightful seven mile loop.
