The North Inlet Trail departs from a trail head on Portal Road in the town of Grand Lake. This is a
streamside trail that follows the course of the north inlet to Grand Lake up into Rocky Mountain National
Park. This is a pleasant trail with lots of opportunities for streamside views. This is one of Four
(the others being the East Inlet Trail, East Shore Trail, and Tonahutu Trail) trails in the park that can be used without paying a fee.
