The East Inlet Trail departs from a trailhead at the end of Portal Road in the Town of Grand Lake. The first 1/3 of a mile of this trail
goes to Adams' Falls. This is probably the most used piece of trail in the area. Once past the falls the crowds thin out as the trail
skirts several large meadows. This is a good trail for a longer walk as there are several nice "destination" lakes for stronger hikers.
Late in the day during the summer, quieter hiking parties are likely to encounter some wild life. This is one of Four
(the others being the North Inlet Trail, East Shore Trail, and Tonahutu Trail) trails in the park that can be used without paying a fee.
