This is one of my favorite spring trails. It departs from a trail head which is about three mile in on Grand County Road 6. Although, it's a good trail all year long(snowshoe
trail in the winter), it's an exceptionally good trail for viewing wild flowers in the spring and early summer. My hiking buddy, Rick, and I counted 30
different kinds of wild flowers along the first mile of this trail. This trail to the source meadow of Doe Creek is short, easy, and quite pleasant.
